We operate a marketplace that connects customers with independent local gardening contractors.

- Photographs of the property you choose to send us

- Measurements of your lawn, taken from satellite imagery of your address

How we share your information
To provide our services, we share relevant job details (including your name, property address, and job requirements) with the independent contractor assigned to your job.
We do not sell your personal information.

Payment information
When you accept an estimate, you pay Fred’s Fettle Mowing a 15% booking deposit, which comes off your total. If we cannot match you with a local gardener, the deposit is refunded.
The balance is paid directly to your gardener on the day, once the job is done.
Contractors pay nothing to claim a job — no lead fees, no commission and no subscription. We are paid by the customer’s booking deposit.
Booking deposits are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit or debit card details.
Data storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information against:

- Unauthorised access
- Modification

Your information is stored using secure third-party platforms that implement industry-standard security measures.
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
